The first good day to wash and wax

Finally, a beautiful Ohio day. Not like we get too many of those around here...or at least it seems that way. Actually, it's kind of cold outside now, but it was beautiful earlier today. I managed to get the 'Vette out and get it ready for next week's first car show of the season!

See the shine...

Quite the looker...

Ready for the show...

I'll take plenty of pictures at the show next week, but these are a good start!

All-American town

I drove back in time today...not using a time machine, mind you. Instead, I drove through Mechanicsburg to Urbana, Ohio. It's a quiet little town, with one small hospital, an even smaller fire department, and only one McDonalds. It's dominated mostly by small family-owned businesses and the like.

I decided to capture a picture of the 'Vette by another American institution - Crabill's Hamburgers in Urbana. One website (I'm not saying which - just google it) rated Crabill's Hamburgers as one of the top ten in the country.

Two legends meet...

Hamburgers and Corvettes...what could be more American? If you're a fan of great burgers, you owe it to yourself to make the trek to Crabill's.

First nice Spring day tomorrow

Well, it's going to be 70+ and sunny, with a light breeze tomorrow. Sounds like the perfect day to break the 'Vette out of its long winter hibernation. Not that anyone reads this but me, but if I see you, I'll make sure to wave!

(You'll just have to wave at me first, so I know who you are...)
