Would you like fries with that?

If you're one of the millions and millions of people who eat fast food every day, then you owe it to yourself (and your health) to see the documentary "Super Size Me", by Morgan Spurlock.

Morgan took it upon himself to conduct an experiment where he ate nothing but McDonald's food for every meal; if they didn't sell it, he didn't eat it. The results were horrifying, if not predictable.

I used to be one of the many people who ate fast food every day, but after viewing this movie, I haven't touched it since - not even once. It's scary to think what greasy fast food does to your body...the same way smoking or excess drinking can harm you. Large, greedy corporations that care more about money than the health of their customers are somewhat to blame, but so are the people who purchase the food from said companies. If people exercise restraint and don't purchase the fat-laden, addictive food, then there would be no market for it and the companies would go out of business or be forced to change.

Anyway, go rent the movie if you haven't seen it yet - or go buy it. It's worth watching again whenever you get a Big Mac attack. Food for thought...

Until next time - don't forget to wave!
